About this tour

Departure early (the time always depends on the time of year, average 2 hours before sunrise) from the hotel towards Santana, more precisely to Achadas do Teixeira. Upon arrival at the site, the 45-minute walk begins to the island's highest point, Pico Ruivo. After this wonderful moment, we head towards the city of Santana, where we can see the traditional houses with the thatched straw. Having said that, we head towards Porto da Cruz where we can appreciate the sugar cane spirit ingenuity and where we can taste some traditional flavours of the island. Return to the hotel after the museum visit.
