About the East tour on Madeira Island
Departure from the hotel towards Santana village, where you can enjoy the charms of the small colourful typical houses of the village. After that, we go through the Faial viewpoint (Guindaste viewpoint), then we pass at the Rum Factory at Porto da Cruz, where is possible to visit the factory and do some tasting of the local rum!!
On the way to the southeast, we pass through the Ponta de São Lourenço Viewpoint, one of the most beautiful viewpoints on Madeira Island, and after that and before getting back to the hotel, we pass through Cristo Rei, where we have a big sculpture of "Cristo Rei" with great views through the city.
